Brickout v1.9R4 has been released

We did a major retrofit and rebuild of Brickout over the past few months, and this is the result:

We listened to all of your suggestions and added in a better sound system and sound effects, added in a 20+ minute soundtrack, tweaked the graphics, added more levels, and made the level editor even easier to use. We also threw in some other nice features, like 7.1 surround support and a music player that can playback .m3u playlists.We left 2 things alone---the gameplay and the price---it's still a ton of fun to play, and it's still the most feature-packed brick-breaker you can get for under $10. :)

 I hope you guys enjoy the new version, and I look forward to your feedback.

Star Mountain Studios' spooky adventure game targets its demographic with laser beam precision.Ghosts. Their existence has been a point of contention for centuries, and while scientists and skeptics still disavow that ghosts are real, it is ironic that technology will be the key to unlocking the mystery of it all. Whether ghosts exists or not (that is a contentious subject that is well beyond the scope of this space, believe me), the topic is a perfect fodder for gamers who have no problem suspending disbelief to have an abnormal adventure. So with that in mind, it's easy to see why Star Mountain Studios' latest game, Apparitions, is an interesting adventure for gamer and true believer alike...

Positech Games is basically one guy (Cliff Harris), a long-standing UK indie game developer, responsible for Democracy, Kudos, Rock Legend, and many more
games. Cliff really is the last of the bedroom coders, as he is programming right now in his bedroom.

The quest starts and you wake up like if you were sleeping since a long time. You find yourself in a foreign island, full of temples and old relics, with no clue why you are here. Find your way out of Lost Temples Island. Meet and duel the beautiful and powerful  Lilith, the half elf, half fairy princess. Collect the 5th and last stone avatar of Life and Spirit: the Angel with its powerful healing skills, and the Rhino, a prehistoric beast capable of killing enemies with one single shot of his lightning strike.
